Some of the best work we have ever done was for nonprofits.
We have built for them over the years, we are building for them right now, and it is some of the work our team is proudest of. So we are making it a program. One nonprofit a month gets a full custom system, built and run for them, as a way of giving back to the people already giving so much.
This is about the relationship, not charity.
Nonprofits run on people who give their time, their money, and their years to a cause. The tools they are handed rarely match that effort: a donor list here, a volunteer sign-up there, grant deadlines on a whiteboard, and the finances in a spreadsheet nobody wants to own.
We think the organizations giving that much deserve software built for how they actually work. Blue for Good is how we give some of that back: not a donation, a system. One a month, chosen from applications, built and run the same way we build for any client, at a fraction of the cost.
How it works
Three steps, and a real team behind them.
You tell us what your organization does
Who you serve, what you run day to day, and where the current patchwork of spreadsheets and tools is letting you down. Plain language, no tech required.
Blue sketches the system in about a minute
Blue is our software designer. It turns what you described into a working design of your system while you watch, so you can see the shape of it before anyone commits to anything.
Our team builds it, secures it, and runs it for you
Real people at ClayGen take the sketch the rest of the way: built into real software, hardened, hosted, backed up, and supported. You get a running system, not a codebase to maintain.
Blue sketches the design. A real team at ClayGen, people in Canada, builds it into secure software, hosts it, monitors it, backs it up, and answers when you call. You are never handed a prototype you cannot run.
What you get
One system, not a pile of tools.
Donors, campaigns, grants, volunteers, programs, events, and the finances that tie them together, in one place instead of a patchwork of spreadsheets and disconnected apps.
Donors and gifts
Every donor, every gift, receipts and history in one place, not scattered across inboxes and spreadsheets.
Campaigns and pledges
Track campaigns against goals and follow pledges from promise to paid, without a separate tracker for each.
Grants pipeline
Applications, deadlines, funders, and decisions in one pipeline so nothing important slips past a due date.
Volunteers and programs
Volunteers, hours, and the programs they power, connected to the people and outcomes they serve.
Events
Galas, drives, and community events, with the people and money attached to each instead of living in a side spreadsheet.
The finances that tie it together
The money side connected to the mission side, so what you raised and what it funded live in the same system.
See what one looks like
Meet GoodCause CRM.
A demo we built to show what a nonprofit system could look like. Not a real organization, and not a template you get off the shelf: yours would be shaped around your programs, your terminology, and your people.

GoodCause CRM is a demo built by ClayGen to illustrate the idea. The numbers, donors, and grants shown are made up.
The give-back
A quarter of the price. The whole system.
Selected organizations pay 25% of our standard pricing, on both the build and the monthly subscription. Same software, same team, same support as any client. The other three quarters are on us. That is the give-back.
The build
Your custom system, sized to what you need
A quarter of standard
25% of the normal build cost, quoted up front once we have scoped it with you. No surprise line items.
Running it
Hosting, security, backups, and support
About $12 /user/mo
25% of our standard $49 per user per month. We host it, secure it, back it up, and support it, every month.
To be clear, this is discounted, not free. We run the system like we run any client's, and keeping it hosted, secure, and supported has a real cost. Charging a quarter of it is how we make the give-back something we can sustain, one nonprofit at a time.
One a month
Apply, and tell us about your cause.
We choose one nonprofit a month from the applications we receive. There is no scoring rubric to game and no grant-writing marathon: just tell us what you do and where the current tools are holding you back.
- One organization selected each month, from applications.
- We read every application ourselves and reply either way.
- Selected organizations pay a quarter of standard, on the build and the subscription.
- Blue sketches it; the ClayGen team builds, secures, and runs it.
